Q: What makes Dargel unique?
A: Dargel is the oldest single family owned boat manufacturer in TX, and one of the very few EPA certified builders in south Texas While other manufacturers focus on hype, we focus on building a high quality and affordable boat for you, the consumer.

Q: Why are Dargel Skouts shallower than other boats?
A: Zero degrees deadrise at the transom and a very efficient tunnel. Unlike concaves that create suction and drag and cause boats to lean while on plane or slide in turns, our tunnel with a flat surface glides smoothly across the top of the water.

Q: What type of warranty comes with a Dargel Boat?
A: All Dargel boats come with a limited lifetime warranty on the floor and transom, and ten years on all composites such as hull and decks.

Q: Why buy a boat manufactured by Dargel?
A: A boat built by Dargel will come with more standard features than any of our competitors giving you more bang for your $$. But more importantly would be quality, we've been building boats in the same location since the 1930's so you can rest assured we'll be here should the unfortunate need arise that you need your boat serviced.

Q: How long has Dargel been in the boating business?
A: Mr. Dargel built his first boat around 1933 out of necessity, later his neighbor purchased the boat and he built another, by 1937 the process had repeated itself enough for him to realize that there was enough demand to start a business.
